Alaska Awards MacKinnon Marine Grant for Autonomous Watercraft
Anchorage based MacKinnon Marine Technologies (MMT) builder the “AlumaPro” watercraft received a Phase 0 grant from the State of Alaska. The goal of the grant is secure contracts to modify the AlumaPro platform to become the first unmanned service watercraft in its class.
By working with other companies, MMT will integrate emerging autonomous operating technologies and systems to offer an unmanned craft with proven AlumaPro capabilities.
